Teams are made up of individuals. Without them, there is no team.
I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I’m training for my first half ironman triathlon (Vineman 70.3 in Santa Rosa, CA) as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training.
I am raising $4,000 to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. And, blood cancer has personally touched my life in two ways.
-
My Auntie Ana had non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma when I was younger, and because of the treatments available, she is alive and well today. I am so blessed to have her in my life!

My dear friend, Audrey, whom I have known for over 7 years, has non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and undergoes treatment on a regular basis. She’s amazing because she also trains with TNT season after season to fight for this cause that directly affects her!
So, I ask you today to please help me improve the lives of patients such as my Auntie Ana and my friend Audrey, by making a donation in support of my efforts with Team In Training to help advance the research for blood cancer cures. Check out my fundraising page at http://pages.teamintraining.org/los/VineHIrn13/HeatherCPT. Thank you!
