Don’t Let Fear Stop You

Fear is nothing more than False Evidence Appearing Real.

Coach Heather Binns’s talking… I’ve thought about that at scary points throughout my life.

  • When I was afraid I might fail at something.

  • When I was afraid someone was mad at me.

  • Anytime I’ve tried something big, new, different, and scary.

Fear is natural, and sometimes it’s a useful alert to our “flight or fight” system. It can keep us safe, but for many, it keeps us paralyzed.

Rather than being afraid and concerning yourself with what is “possibly” to come, instead celebrate your wins. Maybe you didn’t lose the full 20 pounds, but at least you lost some of it, so celebrate!

Fear keeps you from living to your fullest potential, especially when it comes to the self-limiting stories you tell yourself…it’s such a waste of time. Once you see that fear is just an illusion, no more powerful than a shadow on the wall, then you’re free to let it go.

It can take time to break your fears, but in time, you can become fearless!
