You might want approval.
You might need role models.
But remember this, as Carl Jung once said, “Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”
That has been more than true in my own development over the last few years. Especially over the last couple of months.
We’ve come to realize that we need to look deeper within ourselves for our motivation, our desires, our direction, and more. To properly manage any growth or success, we realized that we had to tune into the truth of who we are, discover our own heart, and embrace it.
Too often, we looked to other people for validation and confirmation that we was making the right decision or heading in the right direction, but only we can truly know what direction is right for us.
We learned that we need to stop looking to others for approval or praise – and sometimes even criticism (even though it’s helpful). And as this has been settling in with us, we feel at ease and more content in our life.
We no longer worry about what others think of us as much. Of course, we still like approval as much as anyone, but we no longer need it and no longer take criticism so personally.
It’s about growth and learning to be the very best version of ourselves…to live a limitless life!
We now know who we are. we take care of our body, mind, and spirit according to our own values and beliefs. Furthermore, we’re doing the best that we can to live a healthy, valuable life.
We hope you can say the same, but if we’re not there yet, let’s talk about it. Personal acceptance is the key to the growth you deserve.
We’d love for you to comment and let us know how this sits with you.
